The minor in Moving Image Arts provides a solid foundation in the analysis of film, television, video, and new digital media works. Students take courses in

  • media history
  • aesthetics
  • theory
  • technique.

They learn to think critically and interpret media while exploring media history and forms.

The minor prepares students for advanced studies and work in film writing and criticism. Students also gain experience with film, video, and new media production techniques.
